England, Chelsea, and Backstreet boys

I've decided to make this blog a Music and football Blog and by football I mean European not American. I wanted to write about my two favorite things that being football and music. I may every once and awhile update and talk about movies, actors or actress's as well.

Saturday 8th August, 2009;
Was the Community Shield Match Chelsea v. Manchester United at Wembley stadium. It was the first time since 1999 that Chelsea had won a match on Penalty kicks. As a Chelsea fan it was such an amazing day to see them win even if during the entire match I spent freaking out worrying about the outcome. Big matches tend to that to me because I want to see my boys win so bad. They deserve all the trophies they can get.

Wednesday 12th, August 2009;
England played a friendly against Holland which ended in a 2-2 draw. With Jermaine Defoe scoring both for England. England has been playing amazing since Fabio Capello came into management. I was so happy the day Steve McClaren was fired as he was an awful manager. Next month brings World Cup Friendlies and before we know it, it is going to be next summer and we will be having the 2010 World Cup.... I CAN NOT WAIT.

The English Premiere league Season Kicked off this weekend.

It disappoints me to see Chelsea in 6th place but it is only the first match of the season so hopefully we will make our way up to first place and take the title this year.

Music:
Backstreet boys new album comes out this fall and with all the songs I've heard by them coming out I believe its going to be one of their best albums yet. As someone who has been a fan since they came out in 1997, has all of their albums including their original European ones this is going to be one of my favorite CD's as their first single is just amazing. Straight through the Heart is a great song and you can listen to it below.

Her Daily Obsession and Mams Taylor

Lately, I have been listening to these two on repeat. I absolutely love the song LA Girls by Mam's Taylor featuring Joel Madden and while sadly Her Daily Obsession broke up a few years ago I still love their music.

Her Daily Obsession

Her Daily Obsession I came across a few years back and I instantly fell in love with their music. My friend Manda and I decided to start promoting them on our own and started groups from them all over the internet. The band themselves came across them and got in contact with us. It was weird because Manda and I just wanted people to hear their music but it was nice to know they appreciated our hard work. They performed their first show in at the Black Cat in DC on I believe July 1st,2005 maybe. I drove down with my best Friend Erin to see the band play. If I liked their music before I truly liked it even more after hearing it live. I remember the band knowing who I was without me saying anything which again was kind of weird but it was really cool too.

I know the band is broken up but if you ever get the chance to hear them I suggest you do it. The singer Sarah Madden (above with me) is very talented as was the rest of the band.

I don't remember how I came across this song but it's very catchy and very good. Its got a good beat and the lyrics are pretty catchy.

My names Brittany and Welcome to my Music blog. Music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've always had the ambition to work in it though I've been sidetracked for a few years and now I'm looking to back and get into the music industry. I've always enjoyed listening to music and I love Pop Punk, Country, Pop and everything in between. I started this blog to talk about what music I am listening to at the moment, my own reviews of CD's and put out there some bands I've recently discovered whether old or new for others out there.

I'm always up for listening to new music so if you have some music that you want me to hear comment my blog and I'll definitely check it out and write my review of it.
